Survivors is a British television series devised by Terry Nation and produced by Terence Dudley at the BBC from 1975 to 1977. It was remade in 2008. It concerns the plight of a group of people who have survived an accidentally released plague that kills nearly the entire population of the planet. Most have been interviewed by local historians and gave freely but it is not something you ever bring up in their presence because it was horribly painful. most Holocaust survivors lost ALL of their family and friends. Very few actually knew each other before the war. Most of those alive today were children then and still have nightmares. Can you imagine having the same nightmares for 60 years? The same can be said for the survivors or the Bataan Death march. there were actually two guys on that horrendous trip from my hometown.
